The Holistic Climber
The Holistic Climber Training System is a minimalistic program where we train to prevent all of the most common climbing injuries so that we can actually climb more and not get sidelined! I don’t want to take the athlete away from their climbing, in fact I want to give them the tools and structure needed to complete efficient workouts that will address fingers, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hamstrings, hips, back and neck injuries all in a cohesive system that will simultaneously improve their strength and athletic performance in these areas. Along with injury prevention and strength there is a huge emphasis on optimizing the athlete's mobility, posture and breathing mechanics. This program is designed for you to complete the warmups and workouts seamlessly with your climbing workouts / sessions. It is time effective, and all of the exercises are constructed with the minimal effective dose in mind, what’s the least amount of extra training we can do to see maximal results? The goal is to not build muscle mass rather strengthen the common places of injury in a climber.
