Holistic Breath
Holistic Breath includes and encourages daily, 15-30 minute, guided meditation that utilizes deep breathing techniques through various spinal positions to increase the mobility and volume of your thorax. By twisting and extending the spine, while focusing on expansion of the rib cage through deep nasal breathing, our lungs and diaphragm will naturally do the work of mobilizing for us. Doing this practice frequently will lead to more mental clarity, better breathing mechanics, improved spinal mobility, posture, shoulder health, and hip health, all while decreasing the amount of breaths that you take in a day. The slower and deeper your breath, the lower your heart rate can remain throughout the entire day, thus (over the course of your life) your ‘health span’ improves.
This course can be completed at home with minimal equipment.
